MOVE-IN READY STAGING FOR SELLERS

Serving the Greater Boone County area including Boone, Ames, Ankeny & Des Moines, IA

Service Overview

A buyer judges a room by the objects in it, and a room missing its bedding, its lamps or its chairs looks like a room still being set up. At Sell It Well Home Staging, we stage each main room of your home so no piece of it is missing, because each familiar object does two jobs at once. A queen bed or a dining table of known size lets a buyer gauge the floor around it, and a lamp on a nightstand shows how the room gets used after dark. An empty bedroom offers no such clue, since nothing of known size stands on its floor. When those pieces are all present, the room's size and its purpose can be read in one look from the doorway.

A move-in ready room is one you could use the same evening the furniture arrives, with the bed made up, seating gathered on a rug and a table with its chairs drawn up. All of it comes from our own inventory and is selected for your rooms before installation day.

One Rug Under the Seating Group

A rug wide enough to hold the front legs of the sofa and chairs pulls the seating into one group.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a room move-in ready?
Which package should I ask about?
When should staging go in before the photos?
Can you stage around the furniture I'm keeping?
What happens to the furniture once I accept an offer?

Our pieces remain for as long as the house is listed and leave only after you accept an offer, typically within three weeks to about three months. Once you're under contract, pickup is ours to schedule, and we take back what we delivered while your furniture stays in place. Removal is included, so there are no movers to arrange.

Call Sell It Well Home Staging at (515) 238-3795 and ask for a walkthrough of your home. Once we know when the photos are booked, we'll plan each room so a buyer can read its size and its use from the doorway.
